Availability
I am currently accepting new clients and have weekday and evening appointments available.
Therapy can be either short term or long term depending on your needs. Alternatively, you may just want a single session to process a decision from a clearer perspective for an immediate issue.
Sessions can take place face to face from a calming space in central Hove, online or telephone, or outdoors in nature as walking talking therapy.
About me and my therapy practice
“The answers you seek are already within you” - Rumi
My role as a therapist is to provide you with a safe and accepting environment, supporting you to process the struggles you choose to bring and find your own resolution.
I am a Qualified Counsellor and Mindfulness Practitioner, trained in a variety of Humanistic Therapies, alongside Embodied Energy Healing and Mindfulness for Mental Health.
I have experience working with people from all walks of life across the globe in private and government sectors, and offer an ethical and inclusive practice, welcoming clients from minority groups.
I will offer a genuine and open-minded relationship of equals, without judgment or analysis as the expert. While supporting your movement away from overwhelming feelings that may be leaving you feeling confused, isolated, or holding you back in life.
Practice description
I work with clients using a ‘whole person’ healing approach, integrating Western Psychology and Creative Therapies, alongside Eastern Mindfulness techniques to improve overall wellbeing.
We will work collaboratively towards feeling more connected to yourself and others, from a place of balance and clarity. While implementing positive changes and increasing your confidence to achieve your own goals, at a pace that feels right for you.
For those that are curious, working creatively does not require anyone to create a Picasso!
I combining alternative ways of working with talking therapy in an interactive way, uniquely adapted to each individual. This can be particularly beneficial when it’s hard to find the right words to, or to identify emotional blocks that may leave you feeling stuck.
We can also incorporate simple mindfulness practices into our sessions to restore the balance between mind and body. These can be useful for panic attacks, anxiety and anger issues. Clients are able to practice these independently to gain a sense of calm by connecting with your your own healing ability.
