About me and my therapy practice

I work with Mind and YiS ( Youth Counselling). I am based in Milton Keynes and also have a private practice. I am a Creative Thinking Facilitator and Practitioner and I work also as a Theatre Director and Workshop Leader. I am interested in how the arts can be used in therapy to help deal with anxiety, stress, depression, anger management and lack of self esteem.

Practice description

I am trained in the person-centred approach, but I would describe my work as integrative. I draw on other approaches. I am now well versed in telephone counselling and online counselling (latter using Zoom).

My first session

I offer a first half hour session for free by telephone in order to get to know the client and the presenting issue. This enables us to gauge if we are are the right fit and to go through what expectations the client has for counselling.
