About me and my therapy practice
It is ok to need help and support sometimes. I provide a warm and confidential space where clients can talk openly and freely, without judgment. As an integrative therapist I have many different models of working to suit each client as I believe that all of us are unique. I can help you learn about yourself and the relationships around you, seeing a different perspective is often very powerful. This can allow insight into your thoughts and behaviours and can help you make better choices for yourself. I believe in empowering my clients with the tools they need for change and moving forward on their own after the initial benefit of therapy. I use psychoeducation and consider knowledge is power, allowing clients to learn and recognise their reactions and change responses in more beneficial ways. I am positive and nurturing, I use humour and occasional challenging to build a trusting relationship where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings.
What ever the reason you would like to have someone to talk to, anxiety, trauma, sexuality, loneliness, covid, abuse the list goes on, I am an effective therapist who will be by your side to help you find coping strategies and positive changes in your life. I work with a wide variety of issues and additionally trained in Mindfulness, Loss & Bereavement, Working with Muslim Clients, Motivational Interviewing. I have experience of working within Mental health, Cancer charity and currently LGBT Cymru Helpline. I am also an EAP Counsellor for the Civil Service.
