Practice description

I am a trauma informed, integrative counsellor.

What is an integrative counsellor?

This means that I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, combining psychodynamic, creative therapies, mindfulness and somatic techniques such as breathe work and EFT tapping to help regulate the nervous system. I am passionate about the mind-body connection and believe in the body's capacity to hold and process distressing experiences. Additionally, I am interested in attachment theory and exploring how early years shape our adult selves.

What is trauma informed?

I have completed training specifically around how to work with clients that have experienced trauma, this can be anything from an event that has happened to you or something you have witnessed to developmental trauma which occurred in childhood.
