About me and my therapy practice
My aim is to provide a companionship that will help you to understand yourself and your circumstances better so that you can make positive choices for your life.
Clients say that they appreciate having a space:

My chief task is to listen to you as you reflect on your experience, context, feelings and needs. The space is yours.
Practice description
I offer private counselling hours as Beech Tree Counselling from a location near to the centre of Harrogate, overlooking a garden. It is close to bus stops and has available on street disc parking.
I also offer counselling via Zoom video link or over the telephone.
My first session
We can have a short talk over the telephone to help you decide whether you would like to meet for an initial session and whether face to face or video/telephone counselling would suit you best (depending, too, on current regulations with regards to Covid-19).
At this point I will send you further information and a form.
If you decide to have an initial session, we will meet for an hour at what would be our usual time. We will go over an agreement together and discuss what you are hoping for in counselling.
I check my emails and voicemails Monday to Thursday and aim to reply within 24 hours of receiving your enquiry.
