About me and my therapy practice
Therapy is a deeply personal experience. I tailor my sessions to your needs, drawing on my qualifications and learning in many different areas of psychotherapy.
This is known as an "integrative" approach, in that it integrates teaching from several disciplines rather than sticking exclusively to one school.
If you are looking for a less rigid experience of therapy and seek greater flexibility in life, this approach might be right for you. It's also how I started my own journey in therapy.
The best way to find out if we're a good fit is to book a consultation session. You'll have a clearer idea by the end of our session whether I'm the right person to work with you.
My practice is located in the beautiful city of Bath, England, but I work with patients around the world via Skype, Google Meet and other video conferencing tools.
The consulting room at my practice is spacious, comfortable and filled with plants. It's a peaceful, calming space in which to work together.
My friendly little dog, Romek, can attend sessions with patients who like dogs and find his presence calming. Patients who do not like dogs will not have to see him.
I am a Polish national and speak both English and Polish fluently. I offer therapy in either language. Around half of my patients are Polish.
My first session
You don't have to prepare anything for our first session, it's really a chance for us to talk and establish whether we're a good fit.
Most patients use the time to explain why they're seeking therapy and to ask questions about the process.
At the end of the consultation, you can go away and think about whether or not you'd like to proceed. There is no obligation to continue if you don't feel it's right for you.
