About me and my therapy practice
I qualified with the Westminster Pastoral Foundation's Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling in 1998 and work as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, face to face, once-weekly. I was accredited by BACP in 1999.
During my training and since I have acquired considerable experience in working with issues ranging from mild anxiety to serious psychological distress.
I have worked for the mental health charity Mind in Harrow for over 15 years as centre and group worker, supervisor and volunteer trainer.
I have also worked with physical illness for the Serious Physical Illness project run by the Westminster Pastoral Foundation and now in my private practice.
I have been an affiliate of Counselling in Companies since 1999 and I am referred clients for EAP work.
I see people for open ended, time limited and brief intervention therapy. The first session serves as an assessment of the most appropriate way to go forward according to the presenting problem/s and the focus of the work.
