About me and my therapy practice
Turning for help can feel like a frightening leap into the unknown. I understand this fear and can offer a safe, confidential space for self examination and reflection. Together we can explore the difficulties in your life, how they affect your wellbeing and how to move forward in a more genuinely productive and creative way.
I have experience supporting change in people who are suffering from a wide range of emotional and psychological issues including: abuse, anger, depression, loneliness, loss, low self-esteem, panic attacks and work related problems. However we all have our own unique past and present and therefore our own unique pain. Within a psychodynamic framework, my role is to offer you non-judgemental support, I will actively listen and help you to explore the nature of your problem, which is causing you distress. My aim is to help you to challenge and reflect on your experiences in the context of the past as well as the present, so as to deepen your understanding of their roots, gain a better understand of what is going on and find new ways of making sense of things.
