Features

  • Flexible hours available

Availability

I work flexible hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and some Saturdays.

I work online as well as face-to-face in London in Clapham and Clapham Junction. (SW4, SW11) areas.

About me and my therapy practice

***I currently only have a limited number of daytime appointments available on Wednesday or Friday and no online slots. This may change in the new year. ***

Everyone is different. I am a BACP registered integrative psychotherapist and counsellor which means I can use different approaches according to your needs. This may include identifying and exploring your emotions, looking at how your past is impacting your present or focusing on strategies to help you move forward. And just feeling heard can be powerfully healing in itself.

I offer a warm, supportive, judgement-free space to explore your issues at your own pace as well as some gentle humour where needed! I work online and in-person. I offer regular reviews and encourage your feedback as we progress as this is a journey we are taking together and you are best qualified on what feels right for you.

In person therapy costs £71 per session (this includes room booking) for peak times (after 5pm) and £66 for non-peak times. Online sessions are £55. I also offer 30 minute online slots for £30.

Practice description

I can help if you are feeling anxious or suffering from low mood. Maybe everything seems overwhelming or you are feeling stuck and unable to get what you want or even know what you want. Or you need help to shed light on a current challenge.

Perhaps you are finding it hard to deal with difficult thoughts or emotions from relationships and events now or in the past. Or are dealing with an "inner critic" intent on undermining your confidence and self-worth. You may have symptoms of complex trauma (CPTSD) such as 'hyper-vigilance', reactions that feel disproportionate to actual events or 'flashbacks' that are making it hard for you to cope. Many can be unaware they suffer these as feeling this way has become 'normalised'.

Therapy can help you gain a better understanding of why you feel and act the way you. This can mean healthier, happier ways of relating to yourself and others, feeling more in control of your life, and allowing yourself to flourish rather than just survive.

My first session

Our first session will be spent exploring some of the issues worrying you and looking at what you want to focus on. We will also settle on some goals in this session so we can be clear about what you are looking to change.

I know that entering into therapy is a big step and can be scary. I offer a free 15-minute phone or online consultation to discuss your needs prior to setting up a first session and to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Please phone or email me to arrange a session.
