Current crises can potentialy make us feel anxious and stuck with our fears and past choices. Isolation can bring up feelings of being trapped with oneself or with others. During this time I'm offering online sessions via Zoom if you need a space to explore this further.
About me and my therapy practice
I am qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and I use a combination of psychodynamic, attachment and Jungian approaches to help individuals think about love and loss. I have completed extensive and rigorous training at WPF Therapy, one of the leading and most established training institutions in UK and I hold a PhD in Anthropology.
Do you feel overwhelmed due to the state of your intimate relationship? Or maybe you struggle with loneliness and it feels impossible to find a partner? Or a recent loss of a loved one has left you feeling depressed and not able to open up to anybody new again? The way we are in intimate relationships can be determined by many factors - what we observed in the relationship of our parents, how we negotiated conflict and rivalry with our siblings, trauma, abandonment or neglect in our childhood. Something might be holding us back from being spontaneous, secure, and playful or sharing our true selves with others.
Years of experience have taught me that many people who are successful in other areas of their lives might be blocked by fears and insecurities when it comes to their relationships with others. If you are one of them, I can offer you a private, confidential and non-judgemental space to talk about this and become more self-aware or work on a particular issue.
I have experience working with clients of diverse ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and religion. I'm very interested in giftedness and I'm aware how sensitive and vulnerable gifted people could be. I work with young artists in Royal College of Art and offer reduced fees for students and artists.
