About me and my therapy practice
I understand that there are times in our lives when we are confronted with emotional difficulties that we are not sure how to deal with. Sometimes we can overcome these challenges by ourselves, but when this doesn’t seem possible counselling can help. I can offer you a confidential, safe, non judgemental space for you to explore any difficult thoughts or feelings that you may have. Together we can look at ways for you to make positive steps forward that are right for you.
I know that approaching a counsellor for the first time can be daunting, so it is very important for me to create a welcoming, supportive and respectful environment. I would suggest an introductory first session with no obligation to continue counselling beyond this.This gives you a chance to outline the reasons you are seeking counselling, and for us to decide whether I am the right counsellor for you.
