Availability
Because I work full time as a psychotherapist, working every weekday from 9am to 7pm, I can usually offer the FREE initial consultation within one or two weeks - depending on the client's availability.
About me and my therapy practice
Warm, wise and highly experienced, I am an independent counsellor working with a wide range of private clients as well as a local Mental Health Charity, working with Adults, Children and Young People.
Also I work with two NHS Trusts, NHS IAPT, ITV, Avanti West Coast and several public sector Specialist Mental Health Services. I also I offer trauma treatment to military veterans and those who serve the public in 'blue light services'. As well as traumatised members of the public.
Additionally I offer a highly-effective specialism in the treatment of alcohol issues.
My first session

Clinical Supervision by a Supervisor who is highly experienced, warm and wise.As a Qualified Counselling Supervisor I provide independent Clinical Supervision to counsellors, therapists and mental health practitioners on a regular scheduled basis or for ad hoc specialist issues.Supervision for individual practitioners is offered at my Newcastle-under-Lyme Counselling Rooms or for Team Clinical Supervision, at the Team’s place of work.Fees for Supervision start at £35.00 per hour for Student Counsellors and are by negotiation for individual qualified practitioners or teams.As a Member of the Accredited Register of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy I offer Supervision in accordance with the current BACP Ethical Framework.Practice description
