About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced integrative Psychotherapist offering both in-person and online sessions. As an integrative therapist, I am skilled in different theoretical approaches (humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural) which I draw on according to what works best for you and your own thoughts and feelings about what you want to change. I am also available for relationship therapy, working with couples on a wide range of relationship issues including:
infidelity
communication problems
parenting conflicts
loss of attraction
relationships with extended family
substance abuse
sexual issues
money worries and disagreements
physical or mental health concerns
domestic arrangements
differing life goals
loss of trust
For Couples Work, I charge £100 per session.
My clinical experience is in the NHS, offering time-limited, goal-orientated sessions, and in my private practice there is time and space for more in-depth exploratory, relational work.
MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (University of Roehampton)

Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), meaning I adhere to the organisation’s codes of ethical and professional conduct.

Practice description
"If you want to know your past, look at your present circumstances. If you want to know your future, look at what is in your mind" - Matthieu Ricard
My approach is humanistic, and relational, which means I recognise your innate potential to be the best version of yourself, and I believe in the power of human relationships to help you realise your potential. My practice is also informed by psychodynamic psychotherapy; I am keenly aware of the role the past has played on the present, how your early life experiences have shaped your personality, your core beliefs and how you relate to yourself and others in your life today, often in ways you are not consciously aware of.
Therapy is an opportunity to free yourself from your past and find out who you really are, instead of who you think you are supposed to be. We will work together to uncover the causes of your difficulties and develop new ways of being, to help you engage in the present moment, and to live with more authenticity, equanimity and compassion.
“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live” – Dalai Lama
My first session
Please get in touch to arrange an initial session. This is a chance for us to meet and for you to think about whether you might find therapy helpful, and whether my way of working chimes with you.
I follow the BACP code of ethics and all my clinical work is professionally supervised.
If you are thinking about therapy, unsure about how it works, or how it might help you, please email or phone me on 07729985821.

About me and my therapy practice
“We are here to awaken from our illusion of separateness.”
- Thich Nhat Hanh
My approach to couples and relationship work draws on a variety of therapeutic models including psychodynamic and gestalt as well the philosophy of relational mindfulness. In practise this means reflecting on the relationship and attachment history and looking at how this has shaped the repeating patterns of behaviour and communication at home and also in the therapy room.
Practice description
"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."
- Rumi
There will be many different reasons why couples come to therapy; poor communication, conflict, lack of intimacy, infidelity, anger, depression - whatever the issue, together we will uncover the root causes of the relationship problems, and collaborate in a creative and meaningful way to find healthier ways of being and relating to each other.
Working from a stance of compassion and curiosity, we will look at the core beliefs you hold about love and connection, and where these beliefs have come from. What does being in a relationship mean to you both, and what do you want to change? By working through your past, and integrating your experiences into the here and now, we will move away from fear and doubt and insecurity into a space of wisdom, warmth and love and intimacy.
I welcome all couples regardless of differences including gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet each other and to establish whether we might be a good fit. Usually we would decide at the end of the session, whether to go forward together or not. Sessions are normally fortnightly, but weekly sessions available upon request.
