About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced relational integrative therapist. My training means that I can draw on a range of approaches, to uniquely suit you and your needs.  My approach is collaborative, warm and down to earth.

People come to therapy for all different reasons. You may want therapy to help with a current crisis point in your life, for example, or to deal with issues from your past or childhood (including but not limited to, trauma and abuse), to look at relationship or family problems, or because you are experiencing depression or anxiety.

Sometimes there is no specific issue as such, but you want to use therapy to facilitate your personal growth. Whatever the reason, therapy can help us all.

I aim to offer a calm, confidential, safe and supportive space for you to bring whatever you need; a place where you can truly be yourself, with someone independent of your family and friends, without judgment. As your therapist, I will fully listen to you and the difficulties you are having and help you to make sense and meaning of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. With greater clarity comes increased self-understanding, inner cohesion and conscious choice over our lives and relationships going forward.

In our time together, I will attend to the whole of you; your lived experience of the here and now and the wider context and history of your life. At the heart of my practice is the belief that we all have great capacity to heal, transform and grow, even where we have had the toughest and most adverse life experiences.

Practice description

I have confidential, comfortable rooms in North West London (Queen's Park), where I work on Wednesdays.

I also practice on Mondays and Thursdays in East London: Shoreditch (Brick Lane) and Haggerston.

All venues are a short walk from local transport/tubes/trains/buses.

My first session

An initial session will provide the opportunity for us to discuss what brings you to therapy and will enable you to get a feel for how I work and whether you would like to continue to work with me longer term.

It is important that you find a therapist you feel comfortable with and an initial session will allow you to decide whether you think I am the right therapist for you.
