About me and my therapy practice

We all have times where circumstances in our lives can leave us feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes these difficult feelings are transient but at other times they can persist, feeling insurmountable.  It may be difficult to define exactly what you are feeling and you may feel that you cannot understand or control your emotions. Whatever the reason you come to therapy, it is often a valuable investment in yourself, offering a chance to take time out for you, from perhaps a hectic life that so many of us lead, to breathe, think and reflect.

As your therapist

I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for you to bring whatever you need.  As an integrative therapist I will draw on a range of approaches in our collaborative work together, respecting your individual uniqueness and with the underlying belief that each of us has huge innate potential to grow, heal and move towards living the lives we want to.

My role as your therapist will be fully listen to you and the difficulties you are having and together, to make sense and meaning of your thoughts, feelings and experiences.  The aim of therapy is to gain awareness and help you to feel more in control of your life, leading to healthier, happier relationships, with yourself and others and ultimately empowering you to reclaim elements of your life you feel you may have lost.

I have worked long and short term with a wide range of diverse clients of different ages, backgrounds, nationalities and sexualities, bringing a wide range of issues.

In our initial session we will discuss your circumstances and goals for therapy and you can decide if you want to go ahead.
