About me and my therapy practice
Making the decision to come to therapy can be a difficult one. Perhaps you haven’t been to counselling or psychotherapy before and are unsure of what to expect. Maybe you have questions about whether this is the right thing for you, or the right time. You may be wondering if your reason for seeking therapy is something that can be worked with and there may be apprehension around speaking with someone you do not know, about things which are deeply personal to you. These are all natural responses to what is a unique situation.
The therapeutic relationship is a professional yet intimate one. As an integrative therapist, I will draw on a range of approaches in our collaborative work together, with the underlying belief that within a safe and supportive relationship lies the foundation for self exploration, healing and growth. I believe that each of us has huge innate potential to grow and find an inner peace and acceptance, allowing us to live the enriched, rather than impoverished, lives we want to.
My training as a therapist required my own personal long-term psychotherapy, so I have the lived experience of being a client and am aware of the strength, vulnerability and courage it takes, as well as the power of transformative change.
I offer weekly 50 minute sessions at £60, in the Queen’s Park area of London. Our initial session will explore what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life and see if we are the right fit in working together. I also have a limited number of reduced fee spaces for students, those on benefits or low income.
