About me and my therapy practiceSometimes throughout our lives we can feel anxious, depressed, stressed, worried and feel there is no one to turn to who will understand and not judge. This can impact our self-worth, self-esteem, motivation, and we can struggle to find a way through. It can often feel challenging to reach out and ask for help. I offer a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential space for you to explore any difficulties and allowing you to be heard. I am a warm, friendly, and empathetic person and I will work with you to understand you and your struggles. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is important to me as this forms the basis of our work together. As a person-centred counsellor I believe you are the expert in your life which means our sessions will be tailored to you.
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor, and I am MBACP registered. I have also had the pleasure of working for over 8 years at a mental health charity which has facilitated my growth as a counsellor.
My first sessionI understand that choosing a counsellor is an individual process and this can feel daunting. It is important for you to feel comfortable with your choice. I offer a free 20-minute initial telephone consultation for you to ask any questions you have and find out more about how I can help.
