About me and my therapy practice
My personal approach to Counselling and Psychotherapy is Integrative, this means I Integrate a number of approaches from various models to tailor my approach to suit your individual needs;
I respect that each person experiences events differently depending on the influences from their past experiences, past relationships, cultural background and the context in which we live. However, I emphasise on Psychoanalytic intervention and childhood experience in my work in order to have a greater understanding of current presenting difficulties. I place the relationship between the therapist and client the heart of my work and see this relationship as an integral part of the counselling process.
I am able to offer a wide range of professional support therapies, all starting with an initial assessment consultation which is used to decide the appropriate course of action, whether it be to continue a course of therapy with myself or to refer you to another specialised therapist. I am able too to offer you counselling and Psychotherapy short or long-term.
Please contact me by phone or email to set up an initial meeting or if you have any questions or concerns which you would like to discuss in further detail.
