I offer long and short term work face to face, by telephone, or internet videocall. I also offer outside walk and talk therapy.
I work weekdays 9.30 to 2.30 and 6.00pm to 8.00pm. I also work Sundays from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified and registered Psychotherapist with a friendly, calm and reassuring manner that will help you feel at ease. I can offer you a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings. I adhere to the BACP code of ethical standards and conduct, including undertaking supervision and continuous professional development.
I have a post graduate diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling and I am a Registered member of the BACP.
I specialise in helping people to understand and manage their depression and anxiety, creating strength, resilience and an improvement to daily functioning.
About my service
Sometimes life can result in day to day living becoming a struggle. It can become difficult to concentrate, you can feel disconnected, angry, numb, fragile, struggle to sleep or sleep too much.
I can help you to understand what you are experiencing, to examine it holistically (body, mind and spirit) and to make sense of it. By sharing your thoughts and feelings by speaking out loud in a non-judgemental space that I create, you are free to develop your own self-awareness and create connection to emotions and to identify needs. We work together to understand how those needs can be met effectively.
I am an integrative therapist which means I can use humanistic, analytic, and cognitive behavioural approaches (which in essence means listening/understanding your reality, how the past may have impacted your present, and to help you to build strategies to move forward so you feel more resilient).
I am busy working with clients via telephone and on-line during this challenging time of restrictions and I find that it works equally well as face-to-face therapy. I also offer outside walk and talk therapy (on a 1-1 basis only).
