Usually, I work between 9am and 7pm seeing clients in person from all over East Kent, including Faversham, Canterbury, Ashford, Whitstable, Sittingbourne and Deal.
In these challenging times I'm seeing all clients ONLINE and accepting enquiries from all over the country.
About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor now working ONLINE.
In usual circumstances I work face to face with clients from all over East Kent, including Faversham, Canterbury, Whitstable, Ashford, Sittingbourne and Deal.
My clients reflect society, from 18 plus through to those in their late 70’s and come from diverse social backgrounds, ethnicities and sexualities.
For almost three years my work has been with clients at MIND, the UK’s number one mental health charity. Clients are now welcomed at my own private practice which in these challenging times is presently ONLINE.
Fifty minute sessions can be long or short term and are usually at the same time each week.
Sessions are collaborative and in confidence and follow the Ethical Framework laid down by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Our work together is empathic, non-judgemental and based on trust. You, the client, are the focus and centre of our therapeutic relationship.
Usually I work one to one from a practice in Faversham and where necessary, depending on numbers, from Canterbury and Ashford.
At the moment I am working ONLINE, using Skype, zoom or Face Time.
My first session
First sessions are usually in person and are when we agree how we'll work together, how your well-being is paramount in our objective, non-judgemental sessions.
The BACP Ethical Framework, a code of practice for therapists, is also explained and all your questions answered.
Once you the client feels comfortable we can, following sign off on our agreement, move forward with counselling.
