About me and my therapy practice
Do you spend your days saying that you are fine when this might be far from the truth? Do you give a sense to the outside world that you are coping when really you feel overwhelmed? Are you struggling to make sense of your feelings, either in the present or with memories from the past? If any of these situations sound familiar to you, counselling might help. My name is Diane and I offer a compassionate and non-judgemental approach to counselling. I am committed to offering you a safe space where you can explore your feelings and emotions and find a different way of moving forwards.
Practice descriptionI am passionate about providing an environment where you can feel safe to explore the issues that are concerning you without fear of judgment. As a Person-Centred Counsellor, I respect you as an individual and I work at your pace. Together we explore the areas that you want to consider, this might be your past, your present, or your future.
My first session
I understand that reaching out to a counsellor may feel scary. Because of this, I offer a free, initial telephone consultation without any obligation. This gives you the chance to ask any questions that you might have and it gives us the opportunity to get to know each other a little. You can also get a feel for how I work and whether having a counselling relationship remotely will work for you right now.
