About me and my therapy practice
Do you ever feel like you are not good enough? Are you stuck in a rut? Do you get overwhelmed easily and feel the weight of others' expectations? Are you self-critical or a people-pleaser? These are just some of the things we can work together on. Ultimately, I will work with you where you are and what you need.
I'm Jacqui, a qualified, Integrative therapist. As a member of the BACP I adhere to their ethical framework and my goal is to enable you to feel safe enough to explore your problems in a way that feels right for you. I offer a warm, confidential space for you to heal and work towards living a more fulfilling life on your terms.
My person-centred approach means that I believe you to be the expert in your life and through being really seen and heard you can lead the way in your therapy. You can develop self-insight and take steps towards becoming the person you really are.
I work with adults and have a special interest and professional and personal experience in working with neurodiversity. I also work with women in perimenopause/ menopause and the physical and psychological difficulties this can bring. My experience also covers working with grief, loss, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety and relationship problems.
