About me and my therapy practice

Do you feel low, anxious and agitated? Perhaps you wake up with a sense of dread for no reason. Or you may be struggling with big changes or loss and can't see the way through? I believe counselling provides the opportunity to tune into yourself and discover your inner strength and resources so you can meet life's challenges with resilience. I can help you explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences and move towards healing and growth.

I have specific training and experience working with loss and bereavement, anxiety, depression and relational issues. I also have extensive vocational experience of working with those with long term health conditions and mental health issues. I work with people aged 16 + and have organisational experience of working with young people and adolescents as well as adults.

Practice description

I am fully qualified and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  I adhere to the Ethical Framework of the BACP and am also fully insured.

I practice at a clinic in central Hove as well as in central Brighton.

My first session

I offer a free introductory session of 30 minutes via telephone with no obligation to continue. This time is to explore why you've come to counselling, what you hope to get out of your sessions and whether we are suited to working together.
