About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m an integrative, relational counsellor based in Devon. I am currently offering remote sessions online and in person sessions in Exeter City Centre. I think therapy should be accessible for everyone, with this in mind, I can offer concession rates to students and individuals receiving universal credit.
Practice description
As an integrative and relational counsellor, I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches. This allows for an openness and flexibility to mould my practice to meet your individual needs. Working together we can find ways to express words or feelings that are unique to you. To work relationally means I aim to provide you with a warm, genuine, and non- judgemental space to share your feelings. I believe that our therapeutic relationship is at the core of the work that we do together. So, it is important that you feel comfortable and accepted.
I feel that everything is interconnected, so often work holistically by looking at the whole picture. I believe the work we do together is co-created and each client gets a unique experience.
I have experience working therapeutically with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, PTSD, bereavement, childhood trauma and neglect, domestic and sexual abuse, depression, low mood and more. I have worked for a bereavement charity that supports men and women who have experienced child loss, and I have worked as a domestic abuse counsellor at a rape and sexual abuse centre. Therefore I have a range of experience working alongside trauma and within a trauma informed way.
My first session
I offer an initial free fifteen minute consultation call. This is an opportunity for us to meet and for me to get an understanding of what is bringing you to counselling. It can give you a sense of how I work and it is also a chance for you to raise any concerns or questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
If you are interested in booking an initial session, please get in touch via phone or email.
