About me and my therapy practice

I help clients to reach a deeper understanding of themselves, make desired changes and move forward. Therapy is a meaning making experience and it is my aim to provide you with a respectful and safe space to explore what matters to you. I’m a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and my approach is direct and supportive.

I’m here to gently challenge and guide you to realisations and clarity. Sharing parts of ourselves can feel vulnerable so it’s important that you choose someone you feel comfortable talking to as the quality of the relationship between client and counsellor is key to good therapy.

My areas of experience include Anxiety, work stress, relationship issues, loss, low self esteem and supporting adult children of narcissistic parents.

I work both longer term and short term with clients.

We are currently living through collectively stressful times which may bring new challenges and add pressure and stress to your problems that already exist. You may be looking at counselling because you are struggling with anxiety and aspects of life and relationships feel less manageable. Perhaps you are feeling stuck and depressed about where your life is or is going and want to work through that with a professional. You could have been through a life altering event such as a bereavement or the breakdown of a marriage. Change being inevitable doesn't make it any easier to bear, which is why you might want someone who understands that to offer support.

If you would like to find out more about having therapy with me, please get in touch via email with a brief outline of why you are seeking counselling at this time. Then we can have an initial free 15 minute consultation by phone. This is a really good way for me to better understand what you need. It's also a good opportunity for you to get a sense of me and ask any questions you might hav

Practice description

I have a private and peaceful room right in the heart of town minutes from Oxford Circus.  I currently see clients face to face in a covid secure, peaceful space and virtually via zoom.

Alongside my private practice I have experience working in an NHS setting for addiction and recovery services.

Zoom Sessions £70

In Person Sessions £80

My first session

I offer a 15 minute free initial consultation by phone for us to get a sense of each other. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions about me or the counselling process. It will also help me to understand where you are in your life and what you want to get from therapy at this time.

We begin with a minimum of 6 sessions, this is to give you enough time to properly explore what has brought you to therapy.

Our first session together will be a continuation of our first conversation.

It is an opportunity for you to talk freely and share with me what feels important. I will ask questions to guide you along the way.
