About me and my therapy practice

I help people better understand themselves and find more meaningful ways to live.

I have experience of working with clients with a range of reasons for seeking therapy including; Anxiety, feeling stuck in their lives, relationship issues, grief, addictions, loneliness, perfectionism and healing from childhood trauma.

Talking to someone outside of your everyday life can be incredibly helpful and healing. I work with my clients to bring about lasting changes; through understanding and exploring what matters to you, who you are and where you came from.

My style is relational and I have an integrative approach. This simply means I am able to blend different ideas to benefit my clients; working with both the unconscious and what is happening in the here and now. I can help you to reach a deeper understanding of your issues allowing you to make changes and move forward.

My approach is direct and supportive. I’m here to gently challenge and guide you to realisations and clarity.

I can provide you with safety and reassurance so that you can gain insight, grow and take your life where you want to.

If you would like to find out more about having therapy with me via Zoom, please get in touch via email with a brief outline of why you are seeking counselling at this time.

Practice description

I am based in North London close to Angel tube. I currently see clients face to face in a covid secure, peaceful space and virtually via zoom.

Alongside my private practice I have experience working in an NHS setting for addiction and recovery services.

My first session

I offer a 15 minute free initial consultation by phone for us to get a sense of each other. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions about me or the counselling process. It will also help me to understand where you are in your life and what you want to get from therapy at this time.

We begin with a minimum of 6 sessions, this is to give you enough time to properly explore what has brought you to therapy.

Our first session together will be a continuation of our first conversation.

It is an opportunity for you to talk freely and share with me what feels important. I will ask questions to guide you along the way.
