About me and my therapy practice
Hi my name is Claire
I know from personal experience that counselling can feel like a daunting prospect yet it is also a unique opportunity to focus on what’s important for you. Whether you have experienced loss or you are feeling anxious, depressed, angry or completely lost, please know that there is help and you can find a way to ease the pain of what you are experiencing.
I aim to offer you a space where you can explore your experiences in a safe non-judgemental atmosphere. Where you can begin to understand how your past experiences have led to behaviour patterns and beliefs that continue to hold you back or cause you distress. Together, we can work to help you reconnect with yourself and with others. To develop your strength, vitality and sense of purpose in order that you can begin to make the changes you want in your life. I work in an Integrative style that draws on a number of theories. But most importantly I work in a relaxed style that puts you at the centre of our work together.
If you feel that talking to someone who won’t judge you and who is trained to work with you through your problems and feelings in a confidential setting would be of help, then please get in touch and I will be happy to discuss your requirements and set up an initial meeting if that is what you want.
