About me and my therapy practice
If you have never been to counselling before, you may naturally wonder what is counselling.
For some people, counselling is a safe space for them to explore what's troubling them, during the sessions the therapist and you will work as team to find a way to move your life forward.
In my pratice, I want to offer more than that, I would like to provide a safe and gentle space for you to go within, (if you want to) to search for the root of your suffering. It is in my experience that the reward for doing so is a great sense of liberty, freedom and feeling of peace. You would feel more in control in your life, you would become more aware of the moment to moment choice you have.
At some stage in our lives, many of us will experience stress, confusion, anxiety, depression, loneliness, bullying, diagnosis, bereavement and loss or issues relating to work/life balance.
Life can then feel overwhelming.
Counselling can help you feel lighter and more at peace when you feel low or anxious. Or if you find life too difficult, counselling can help you feel more in control. When you lose someone you love and are feeling the pain, counselling can help you honour the person you love in a healthy way, at the same time, safely adapt to a different life without them. And if you are not feeling too good about yourself, if you feel like ‘this is not me’, then counselling can help you feel happier about who you are. Other issues counselling can help including, building more satisfying relationships, be able to stand up for yourself assertively.

I am a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a member of the BACP.
I specialise in relationship and bereavement.
I am also experienced in counselling a range of issues such as relationship difficulties, bereavement, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, work & academic-related stress and more.
I am experienced with over 800 hours of practice.
I understand and am conversant in feelings, thoughts, intuitions, and spirituality
I am skilled at creating a safe environment for you to talk freely
Having studied for two degrees means I understand academic-related stress.
Having worked in the business sector before means I understand work-related stress and anxiety.
so It is my belief that you have the inner wisdom to grow, to reach your full potential and be the person you want to be, it’s my aim to work collaboratively with you so that together we can explore how to move your life forward in a positive way.
