About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I am a warm, approachable and playful child, adolescent and young person therapist specialising in art and play therapy, helping children and young people when they feel lost, anxious, depressed or out of control.
Change, loss and trauma can be very scary and confusing for children and young people and can often make them feel out of control. My approach is all about giving agency back to your child or young person, allowing them to choose how they express themselves, empowering them to take the lead in their own healing process.

I have experience of working with a broad range of issues such as: depression, anxiety, suicidal feelings and self-harm, out of control behaviour, parental divorce, abuse, neglect, parental mental health issues, attachment needs, bereavement and trauma. My approach is integrative with a focus on person-centred and psychodynamic theories. Working integratively means being flexible and choosing the approach that caters to your child’s individual needs.
With over a decade’s experience of working with children and young people, I combine my warm, open approach with knowledge gained from my MSc in Psychology (UCL - Distinction), BSc in Psychology (University of Bristol - 2:1 Hons) and Diploma in Child Counselling (IATE - Distinction).
Alongside my therapy work I am also a yoga teacher to children and adults, bringing mindfulness into sessions when appropriate.
