About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome! My name is Maggie and I am a qualified and experienced counsellor with experience of working in GP surgeries, NHS and IAPT (Improving Access to psychological Therapies) and private and voluntary sectors. I also work with couples. I offer supervision to other counsellors and counsellors in training.
I use an integrative approach in my practice and use different models and techniques to suit the individual. Seeking therapy is a brave step and it takes a lot of courage to begin the journey of self awareness. I aim to provide a safe, warm, empathic and confidential service to all my clients to support you through the difficult times. I can also help you to learn effective techniques as recommended by NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) to manage day to day stress, anxiety and depression.
I offer long term and short term therapy with a special interest in the following areas: anxiety, depression, stress management, sleep problems, communication problems and personal development.
