About me and my therapy practice
At times, we can all feel stuck in life. We want to move forward, but something holds us back. You may be aware of difficult emotions from the past that seem to be getting in the way of your relationships today. If this resonates with you, then I understand how important it is to speak with someone in a confidential and non-judgemental way. While your past experience may be very uncomfortable to talk about, I can assure you that gaining perspective on your experiences can empower you to make informed choices and take back control of your life.
More About Me and My Work with Clients
I am an Integrative Psychodynamic Counsellor and I draw upon the Humanistic, Relational and Transpersonal therapeutic approaches. In other words, I offer a unique approach to each of my clients by considering how their past relationships relate to their present experience and future desires. I work with a wide range of issues, but I am especially interested in working with people experiencing relational problems, emotional abuse and post-traumatic stress. My approach to therapy is less problem-focused and more exploratory; allowing space for themes and unconscious experiences to be worked through. For this reason, it is preferable to work longer-term (six months or more) with a commitment to meet at least once per week. If a shorter arrangement is desired, we can discuss this in the initial meeting.

Therefore, I offer a free 15-minute phone call where you can give me a brief overview of your situation and ask any questions you may have. From there, we can book an initial session to discuss expectations further.
