About me and my therapy practice
Are there things about your life you would like to change? Or perhaps you are struggling with changes not of your choosing? Counselling gives you the opportunity to talk in confidence about things that are troubling you. When we understand ourselves and our needs better we can make changes that improve our lives. Sometimes we just feel stuck or lost and it can help to talk things through to get a fresh perspective.
I often work with people who:
- are anxious
- feel depressed
- have relationship difficulties
- have experienced bereavement or loss
- want help to take on new challenges
I qualified as a counsellor in 1999 and have worked in education and health settings as well as private practice.
I usually see people once a week. I work with people for anything between 6 weeks to several years. At our first session we will talk about what you want from counselling and how best we can work together.
