About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Lacie.  I’m a down to earth counsellor who understands what it’s like looking at profiles and trying to find someone.

Life’s demands can make it difficult to navigate at times.  Having a place to unload, or to reflect on difficulties can help us find ways to cope with those demands.

I am an integrative counsellor, meaning I work from more than one theoretical background and combine them to best suit each individual client's requirements.

I have worked with a range of clients and continue to work with all clients.  I am neurodivergent affirmative and a proud LGBTQIA+ ally.

Some areas I work with which are not necessarily listed in the 'What I can help with' section are:

  • depression including perinatal and postnatal depression
  • low self esteem, low self worth
  • adults who have been/are being bullied
  • parenting guilt (all parents)
  • infant feeding issues
  • feelings of inadequacy
  • relationship changes/breakdowns

Too add, you may not know what brings you to therapy, you do not have to fall into a category.  This is something we can explore together.

Practice description

With a person centered base, you are at the centre.  It is your journey and I am there with you.  I feel my role is to build a safe, trusting environment where you feel you can share anything, there will be no judgment.

Being an integrative counsellor means I am able to draw on multiple theories to ensure your uniqueness is seen, heard and you are who I work with.  I work collaboratively with you, meaning we're in it together.

My hope for all clients if for you to get to a place of feeling like your mind is more free, and more able to cope with life's demands.

If you feel sitting for an hour does not suit you, I offer walk and talk therapy just outside of Louth.

My first session

I do not complete assessments, I will ask a few questions and we can talk about how we will work together.
