About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Jenna, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
I am trauma and abuse specialist and I have worked in high tier crisis roles, prior to becoming a therapist.
I have over seventeen years' experience of working within the field of trauma, abuse, anxiety and emotional conflict.
How I work, is that I will offer you a space to learn yourself safely, whilst I learn you, your journey and how you manage yourself emotionally in the present day.
I am looking to move you towards a space of being consciously connected to the self and life.
What to expect, is that I am not light in the ways in which I work. I will be wanting to identify where you stand today and what is in your way, to reaching a better version of yourself.
I offer a therapy, that is deeply connected to self governance. To reach that destination, for most of my clients, there are obstacles that are in the way. We leave no stone unturned.
I will explore the unconscious with you- the things that you may and may not be aware of. This is a very deep therapy, that brings you to your core and aligns you to your own values.
I will also be looking out for patterns and cycles of toxic habitual behaviours. Whether this is negative self-talk, negative treatment to the self, self-harm and detachment to the self.
Teens- I am currently commissioned as a Trauma Therapist for Brookfield School. I have worked with teenagers in school for three years now.
I also work with Professional Sports people and Athletes alongside the charity Sporting Chance. This is a unique tier of therapy, that has allowed me to gain insight and understanding, into the turmoil's that can exist, for professional people.
I am a Clinical Supervisor for Stop Domestic Abuse Service, and have spent almost two decades working in this arena, with victims, children and perpetrators of abuse. I know supervise teams in this domain.
From April 2024 I will qualified in EMDR and offering this as treatment.
Practice description
If you are stuck, feel detached, anxious and you recognise that trauma is getting in the way of you living, then I would be the right therapist for you.
I have worked heavily in domestic abuse and sexual abuse therapeutically. I run my own practice and have been a therapist for almost eight years.
As stated above my aim is to connect you to yourself and life. I bring in tools of psychological education, to assist you on your journey.
