About me and my therapy practice
Making the decision to have Therapy is the first step towards making a positive change. Finding the right therapist to work with can be daunting so I offer a free, no-obligation, 30 minute consultation where we can meet to discuss things further. I work in a collaborative way with you to help you to achieve your own individual therapy goals.
I am a qualified and experienced Accredited Counsellor providing Counselling and CBT Services in a relaxed and welcoming environment. I work with both Men and Women, (aged 18+).
I currently work as a freelance Counsellor/Psychotherapist for a number of leading Well-being Organisations across the UK. I also work with clients privately locally, across the UK and Internationally.
I particularly specialise in working with Worry and Anxiety, Stress Management and Low Self Esteem although I work with a diverse range of presenting issues and therapy needs. Contact me to discuss your therapy needs.
I have previously worked for 5 years as a Staff Counsellor in a University setting providing Counselling and Psychotherapy services for staff members across the University.
Prior to this I worked in the NHS Primary Care Service in a Busy Medical Centre where I undertook Counselling and CBT Therapy for patients with a variety of presenting issues and needs.
Prior to my counselling work, my background has been within the public and voluntary sector within the Community, Social Services and NHS Mental Health Services. I also ran a successful business for 12 years.
I look forward to hearing from you.
