About me and my therapy practice
At the end of therapy, clients tell me that they didn't expect to achieve as much as they have from the sessions, and that they wish they had come for counselling sooner. For me, therapy is about us working together to achieve whatever change you want to have happen. This involves you engaging with the process, and putting into practise any actions or coping strategies that we agree would support you.
I have a wealth of experience and skills, and am very easy to talk to. I'm friendly, compassionate, and focus on creating an environment where you can feel at ease, to talk about whatever is bothering you. I choose to focus on working with people experiencing the particular issues listed below, as these are the ones I am an expert in.
"I'm really not exaggerating in saying that the last couple of months have been life changing. Something I know I worked for, but also that you enabled. I cannot remember the last time I felt this comfortable in myself, this in control of my life, this able to cope with my thoughts and emotions. Not only that, but I can feel improvements all the time, and I am in a place now that I'd given up on ever reaching. I really am so so grateful." G.F.
