About me and my therapy practice

As well as being wonderful life can be tough, challenging, throw unexpected things at us when we least expect them and sometimes it can feel like a lonely place.

I am an experienced counsellor, registered with BACP. More so I am a caring, warm, compassionate person who would like to offer you a safe, calm, non-judgemental and confidential space to open up and talk about what is going on for you. I will truly listen to you and together we can work towards understanding your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, looking at how they maybe impacting your everyday life and explore options for change so life is better for you.

My first session

I believe the therapeutic relationship is essential, so I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation so we get to know each other, and for you too see if you feel comfortable that I am the right counsellor for you.

In the pre-session I’d like to find out about you, hear what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to achieve. I will also explain a little about how I work and about the counselling process.
