About me and my therapy practice
Are you looking for relief from chronic health conditions?

I offer a road-map towards better health and a stronger sense of wellbeing using holistic and creative tools such as counselling and life coaching.
The three pillars to my way of working are self-exploration, self-understanding and self-care.
The benefits of working with me include creative methods that allow us to access parts of the brain that are out of consciousness so that we can work deeply, and make lasting change. In addition, I bring over 20 years of experience as a Counsellor and Life Coach gained from working in the NHS, Children's charities, domestic violence charities, organisations offering counselling to young people as well as adults.
All sessions are delivered by Skype / Zoom for your convenience. Weekend and evening appointments are available.
I am client centred in putting you at the heart of the work, being led by you and your goals. I work at your pace, preferring to accommodate you the person rather than try to make you fit the model. I want to see you succeed in your life, and that is what drives my work. My current areas of interest are the mind-body link, chronic ailments and wellbeing through creativity. I will consider working with most issues.
I hold an MA in Child, Adolescent & Family therapy; a Diploma in Coaching; a Diploma in Supervision and an MA in Creative Writing. I am BACP Accredited.
I have worked within CAMHS for 8 years and in the wider NHS for over 12 (including adult eating disorders team). I also provide mental health consultations for professionals working with children.
I welcome and offer a free 15 minute initial exploratory conversation to see if we fit one another.
My first session
The first session after you decide you want to work with me, will involve an in-depth information gathering session that will last upto an hour and a half. This will provide the context to our ongoing work.
We will also set the terms and boundaries for the work at this time.
Future sessions will be 50mins face-to-face time and 10 minutes admin time.
