About me and my therapy practice
Counselling for me encompasses three great passions: connecting with people, working creatively, and discussing life philosophically.
My unique style of working is both as a seer and collaborator. I am an active and engaged participant in your process. Offering my own observations, thoughts and feelings as we journey together to encounter the changes you desire to make in your life.
Working with me as a therapist means; discovering connections, trying new things, taking risks, humour, growth and working holistically with mind, body, emotions and spirit.
I create a space for us to look at what you are struggling with in life. But this is only half the story! Counselling is also about working through the struggle and difficulty so that we can rediscover laughter, joy, what we value and appreciate and what makes us want to get out of bed in the morning!
I am currently taking on new individual clients and couples as well. So please feel free to contact me to discuss any questions you may have and to make arrangements for counselling.

I welcome all clients who are committed to self-exploration and who are looking to identify, process and let go of what is holding them back in life.
I have experience working with a broad range of clients and as a queer counsellor also respect and work affirmatively with diversity and difference.
Some of the areas I have experience working with include:
Anxiety and panic attacks
Low mood and depression
Family and relationships difficulties
Trauma and abuse
Clients who identify as LGBT, GSRD or TGNB
Addiction and addictive tendency
Disconnection from oneself, society and others
Low self-esteem/ Low-confidence
My first session
Our first session together will be your assessment session. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and to dive into the reasons for you coming to therapy.
I work with an open-ended process so there are no fixed number of sessions that we work to. As the work evolves we will have regular reviews to check in with the work. Monitoring both the progress that is being made as well as any blocks or resistances we may encounter along the way.
I offer face-to-face and online counselling.
I offer a limited number of concession spaces and lower rates for persons who have low income, are unemployed and for trainee counsellors.
