Sessions are currently online, at the same time and day every week. I offer counselling from Monday to Friday, during the daytime and evening between 8am - 8pm. However, if you work shift patterns I am happy to discuss a more flexible schedule.
About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Mim (she/her). I’m a psychotherapist and counsellor based in the UK, currently working online.
I am passionate about therapy. I know the power of feeling heard, understood and the relief that we are not alone. Whether you decide to work with me or someone else - do reach out for support. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
My Approach
I use an integrative approach to therapy using a variety of techniques including: Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Person-centred, Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.
I have experience working with: Depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, life transitions, self harm, suicide and suicidal thoughts, trauma and sexual trauma
Our mental health is so important, it affects not just our mind but our bodies. Our emotions, our relationships with others and yourself. It can feel overwhelming to choose to help yourself, but you are not alone. I can help you move forward with compassion for yourself and your experiences.
Practice description
You are not broken; you do not need fixing. Rather, the better we understand our past, our behaviours and thoughts, the better we can grow in every aspect of our lives, from how we see ourselves, to our relationships with those around us.
We each learn and grow in a variety of different ways. The sessions are there for you to really explore who you are. We go to therapy for many different reasons and you do not have to be at rock bottom to go. Everyone can benefit from therapy.
My first session
Assessment
I offer an initial online/phone assessment for 30 minutes for £30. This gives us a chance to talk with each other and to see what you would like to focus on in our sessions together, as well as if you would like to work with me.
We also discuss the boundaries of therapy and what you can expect from working with me. You are under no obligation to work with me.

Cost of weekly counselling:
Sessions cost £55 for a weekly 50 minute session.
