About me and my therapy practice
There is no specific time in life when people turn to therapy, but it is often when significant events such as bereavement, divorce, difficulties in relationships occur or when feelings of anxiety and depression are difficult to understand. We will work together to help you think in a different way about your past and present experiences and how they affect your life today.
The psychodynamic approach is to listen and to help you understand unhelpful patterns of behaviour and thinking, we will work together to bring about change. This understanding comes through making connections with the past and present and developing a better understanding of ourselves. Together this will allow us to make sense of your difficulties.
