Hi there, I'm Rebecca - a counsellor and psychotherapist who strives to create a warm, accepting and compassionate space for my clients. Working together, I can support you to understand how your past experiences shape your current patterns and help you to develop skills so you can work through difficult feelings to find a sense of peace. I work in a way which aims to understand and nurture your strengths so they can support you to live a happier and more fulfilled life.

I have experience working with a wide range of people and communities having previously worked in community counselling and universities as well as the private sector. I work in a neurodiversity-affirming way and have worked supportively with clients who live with ADHD, ADD, autism and/or dyslexia.

Examples of areas which I have successfully supported my clients include: anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, low mood, trauma, hopelessness, grief (in relation to losses of all kinds), bereavement, stress, relationship dynamics and/or patterns, identity, pain, health issues, women's health & low self esteem/confidence. This list is not exhaustive so please do still contact me if you do not see yourself within that list!

Having worked in student support and mental health in universities for many years and I am able to offer students (17+ years) from all backgrounds tailored, blended therapeutic and academic support due to my background.
