About me and my therapy practice

I'm an Integrative Psychotherapist based in Cumbria. I hold a Post Graduate Diploma Level 7 in Integrative Psychotherapy, and with this extensive training, I am committed to supporting individuals on their path to mental health and well-being.

Throughout my career, I have developed a deep passion for helping people overcome challenges and find fulfilment in their lives. My integrative approach draws from various therapeutic modalities, allowing me to tailor the treatment to meet the unique needs of each client. This personalized and effective therapeutic experience is grounded in the knowledge and skills gained from my postgraduate studies.

I am a registered member of professional bodies, including the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). These affiliations ensure that I adhere to strict ethical standards and continually engage in professional development, staying up to date with the latest advancements in the field of psychotherapy.

Having worked with a diverse range of clients, I have successfully supported individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, addiction and personal growth challenges. My expertise and training at the postgraduate level equip me to address complex psychological issues with sensitivity and skill.

Practice description

Creating a safe and non-judgmental space is paramount in my practice. I strive to foster an environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences freely. Collaboration is central to my therapeutic approach, as I work together with my clients to develop goals and strategies that promote healing, growth, and resilience.

My holistic perspective acknowledges the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. In addition to psychological factors, I consider the impact of lifestyle, relationships, and other contextual elements on mental well-being. This comprehensive approach enhances the effectiveness and depth of the therapeutic process.
