About me and my therapy practice
Are you going through mid-life, feeling that somewhere you have lost yourself? Maybe there’s an emptiness inside, or a sense of overwhelm . Perhaps a major life-changing event like the end of a relationship, children leaving home, loss of a job or health that’s brought it to a head. Or maybe it’s the build-up of years of shoulds and oughts to fit in to your identities as a partner, parent, child or work colleague.
I invite you on a journey to uncover who you are. As you talk about whatever is important to you in a session, I will encourage you to notice what is going on inside you. You and I will be open-minded detectives listening to the information within you: your emotions, physical sensations and your thoughts. Often your emotions express themselves in your body such as a knot in your stomach, or a quietness and low tone as you speak. I encourage you to be kind, and curious and to go at the pace that’s right for you. The benefits of going through this process, is to support you to find you and live your life, not a false one.
On Mondays and Thursdays I work in beautiful therapy rooms 3 minutes walk from Gloucester rd tube in Kensington. This is on the Piccadilly, District and Circle line, easily accessible from all parts of London. Unfortunately for those with mobility issues, the rooms are on the 2nd floor, with no lift.
You can contact me by email and we can arrange a time for an initial session. An initial session is a paid for 50-minute session where you can get a sense of what I offer. If you wish to proceed, we can meet weekly at the same time, in a slot reserved for you.
If you would like to talk to me before you book a session, I offer a free twenty minute phone call at a mutually arranged time.
