About me and my therapy practice

I am currently providing one-to-one counselling via secure online platforms such as Zoom and Skype, or via the telephone.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor  offering a safe, judgement free, supportive and empathic space for you to explore your present and past experiences.

I am an Integrative Therapist, which means I draw on and incorporate various approaches to therapy in order to provide you with a more personalised counselling service that suits you, your current situation and your goals. I can offer you a space where you will feel respected, heard and supported.  I take a Trauma Informed approach and have a particular interest in working with and understanding trauma.

Issues I work with include, but are not limited to; sexual abuse, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, trauma and complex trauma (often referred to as PTSD), anxiety, depression, OCD, stress and anger management.  I also have additional experience working with specific learning differences, including Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism.

Although there is still some stigma attached to therapy and discussing mental health, taking the time to explore and talk about our emotional needs and mental health can be extremely rewarding. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch – I would be happy to discuss whatever is on your mind.

Practice description

Currently all sessions are held online, via Zoom or Skype; or via the telephone.

Sessions last for 50 minutes and usually take place on a weekly basis.

I am happy to work short or long term with my clients, and can also offer one-off sessions.

Payments should be made in advance of the session via BACS transfer.

My first session

Our first session usually involves a discussion around what you are looking to get from the therapy and how we might work together.

Sometimes this will also involve contracting and an "assessment" which really just involves talking about your past and present.
