About me and my therapy practice
Life can be tricky! It can feel like you are wading through mud, it can feel completely overwhelming and sometimes it can just feel off balance. Life makes many demands on us including relationships, work, responsibilities, unexpected life events, grief and unresolved feelings from experiences in your past. Sometimes we all need a bit of extra emotional support and I'm here to help you with that. I can offer you a safe and compassionate space to explore your situation, feelings and thoughts, where you will be fully heard, without judgment or rejection. We will work together to focus on your wellbeing.
I can support you to explore your anxieties and concerns and to take a deeper look at the causes. I will do my best to help you gain greater clarity, strength and understanding of how to make life more manageable, by reflecting compassionately but fairly, your experiences.
It is never too late or too early to seek help. Seeking help is possibly the bravest thing any one of us can do, we are often programmed to keep on going, hoping things will get better. But you don't have to wait, please get in touch and we can have an informal chat, either on the phone, or via Zoom to see if working together can be helpful for you.
My first session
We can have a free informal 20 minute session online or on the telephone to get to know each other a little better and for you to decide if you will feel happy and comfortable working with me. I will also use this session to ensure I have the skills and experience to offer you the support you need. On occasions I may feel that clients would benefit from more specialised support. In these cases I offer suggestions of others to contact.
In this session we can discuss how we would work together and we can begin to highlight any particular areas to focus future sessions on.
