About me and my therapy practice
I have over 17 years experience of working with adults, young people and children. I see people individually, either short-term for between 6 and 12 sessions, or long-term, for more in depth work, which may be for a number of months or years.
I provide a safe and confidential space in which people of all ages can express their feelings, and talk about any difficulties that they are experiencing. Rather than giving advice or providing answers, my skill is to help and support people in a non-judgmental way, to find their own answers and deepen their self-awareness. My style of work is grounded in my understanding of the uniqueness of each person who comes to see me, and for us to work together to try and make sense of their thoughts, feelings and sense of self. This can involve exploring the meaning and importance of their personal experiences, relationships and particular circumstances.
You may phone or email with any queries or to discuss an initial appointment. My fees are £60 per session and for the initial meeting. I offer a number of reduced cost places, depending on availability and a person’s circumstances.
My rooms are 4 minutes walk from Angel underground station, and a short bus or tube journey from Kings cross, Old Street and Barbican underground stations.
I am a BACP accredited (2003) and UKCP registered (2004) Integrative Psychotherapist. I abide by the BACP and UKCP code of ethics.
