I am an integrative counsellor registered with the BACP.

I hold in person, online and telephone sessions. Single session therapy also offered if appropriate to your situation.

My availability for in person sessions is on weekday afternoons between 1 PM and 6 PM depending on bookings. I have availability for online or telephone sessions, and this can vary. My latest appointments are online or telephone appointments and begin at 6.30 PM.

My availability is flexible, so please feel free message me to see if we can fit you in according to your needs.

About me and my therapy practice

Are you feeling sad, overwhelmed, afraid, anxious or stuck? I provide a calm counselling environment for you to talk through your worries at your own pace. I work in person, online and via telephone, and we can vary types of sessions if necessary.

Counselling can help you to deal with difficult family relationships or friendships, trauma, bereavement, menopause, and long term illness, and to process emotions such as anxiety, stress, fear, anger and guilt.

I offer a conversational, trauma-informed approach with a practice rooted in relational, person-centred, and psychodynamic theories.  If integrative counselling suits you, I can help you with anxiety, low self-esteem, family relationships, depression, long term health conditions, menopause, abuse, bereavement, carers' issues and distress caused by online dating scams.

If talking about something feels to distressing, we can work only with your feelings so that you do not have to mention details.

If you are struggling with an issue or a mental or physical health condition, counselling can help to calm and regulate the nervous system and reduce stress and anxiety. I have experience as a nurse and an advocate, working with people from all walks of life.

Take a look at my website for more information.

Practice description

I offer an initial free 15 minute telephone consultation so that we can have an informal chat, which helps us to decide if working together feels comfortable.

If you agree to continue with full sessions, I send you my contract that sets out the terms of the service I provide. I ask for basic personal information and an emergency contact. You are free to ask me any questions prior to signing, as the contract can potentially be adapted to your individual situation. The contract does not tie you in to sessions. You can begin and end counselling when it feels right for you.

We then book either a regular therapy slot or, if that is not possible, we book slots session by session around your fluctuating availability.

Sessions cost £50 in person and £45 online or telephone.

My first session

My first full counselling session begins with a short assessment to find out a little about your general wellbeing and the issues you would like to bring to counselling.

After this, we explore in more detail what you are hoping to address in counselling sessions, what outcomes you are hoping for, and any questions you might have.
