About me and my therapy practice
I am an HCPC- and BACP-registered chartered counselling psychologist, providing counselling psychology and coaching in Central London and Oxford. Using warmth and compassion, I work with individuals and couples to develop an understanding of the problem you wish to work with, along with any underlying difficulties. I then take a collaborative approach to exploring possible treatment pathways and to develop a plan to help you realise your goals. As well as providing general counselling in areas such as depression, anxiety, loss, phobias etc., I have special interests and expertise in addictions, eating disorders and bereavement. I also provide Walking Therapy, combining the benefits of talking therapy with light exercise.
I am trained to work using person-centred, psychodynamic and person-centred approaches to delivering therapy. I am also trained to Level Three in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). A limited number of home visits are also available - Please enquire for more details. In addition to personal and couples therapy, I provide personal and professional coaching to individuals and organisations, and am registered with the British Psychological Society as a qualified test user for occupational, ability and personality.
