I am currently taking on new clients and I offer face-to-face at my home in Liverpool (L16) or online sessions.
I work Tuesday - Friday 9am till 4pm. I do not work evenings or weekends.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an empathetic & perceptive counselor with expertise in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, family issues & low self-esteem, particularly in those who have endured various forms of abuse.
I offer face to face counselling from my home in Liverpool (L16) and online counselling to people across the UK.
I can support you through various challenges and help you to understand what is holding you back from being happy, content and more confident within yourself.
I have an extensive career working for large companies as a HR Manager which enables me to support clients with any work-related issues such as; work-place bullying, stress and career transitions. I also offer leadership coaching.
I offer a friendly, non-judgemental, supportive, confidential space for you to bring any needs or concerns, no matter how big or small they may seem. You may be feeling stressed, anxious, unable to cope, stuck, over-whelmed or generally not like yourself. You may not even know why you feel you need counselling but just know that something isn't quite right
Whatever painful feelings or experiences you are bringing, I will support you to explore what is causing you to feel that way and help you find a way forward.
I am person-centred in my approach which means we will take a holistic approach to your feelings; exploring your past and any patterns or beliefs that may be holding you back. I will challenge and guide you in the sessions but we will always work at your pace and you won't be pushed to talk about anything you're not ready or able to.
I only ever take on clients that I am confident I can help. However, we will regularly review our work together to ensure that you are getting what you need from our sessions and take any corrective action that's needed
My first session
To ensure I can meet your needs, I offer a free, no-obligation consultation call which lasts 20 to 30 minutes. Its an opportunity for you to tell me a little bit more about what you are looking for and I can outline my approach and how I can support you. It's also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. If you are happy with everything, we can then book you in for our 1st session together.
In our 1st session, we will go through a working contract to ensure we are both clear and comfortable on how we will work together. It takes a while to build a relationship so the 1st session is really about us establishing that relationship and getting to know each other. We will explore in more depth what has brought you to counselling and what it is you are looking to achieve.
I run my private practice at my home in Liverpool, L16. There is free on-street parking available outside and my office is up a flight of stairs.
Sessions are £60 for a 1 hour session and payable 1 session in advance. Payments should be sent 24 hours before session to secure your booking
