About me and my therapy practice

Seeking therapy and searching for a counsellor can be daunting process. It takes great strength and courage to take this first step and to ask for help, you may be feeling uncertain and vulnerable so finding the right counsellor is important.

I offer a warm, empathic and non-judgemental approach where you can feel listened to, and valued, creating a safe and confidential space for you to express, explore, understand and work through any thoughts, feelings or behaviours that are causing difficulties, however big or small.

I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP). I practice in accordance with their ethical frameworks to provide a confidential, safe and professional counselling service for adults, children and adolescents.

Practice description

My integrative approach is underpinned by my person-centred core training, this means that I bring in and use a range of approaches and techniques to best suit you and your situation, working with you in a way that values you as a unique being, to support you and to help you find your way forward and keeping you at the heart of the process

I work with adults and young people, both online and now face to face, supporting a wide range of mental health issues which include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, grief and trauma in both the short and long term.

I am situated just 5 minutes from Wells, with parking on site.

My first session

I offer a free initial consultation session, via telephone or zoom, that will give you the opportunity to discuss your needs, to see how counselling may help you and most importantly to see if we can work together.

I am now able to offer zoom and face to face sessions, following all Covid protection protocols, of course.
