Practice description
My practice is in a shared building, where a variety of therapist work alongside. The room is spacious and comfortable, suitable for face to face sessions even in these Covid times!
My first session
The first session is normally a little shorter than the usual 50 minutes, as they are an opportunity to meet in person and discuss what you as the client might want or expect from the therapy process. It is also very helpful to establish whether we can work together. I believe it is important to feel comfortable with each other for therapy to be effective, and I am aware t hat not everybody gets on with everyone else! I respect that and an initial session does not have to be a commitment.
