About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Counsellor, (BACP reg) Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (MBABCP), and Mindset Coach with over a 15 years of experience helping people with a range of psychological problems including:
Depression; living with chronic pain, self esteem; traumatic events; generalised anxiety; OCD; PTSD; health anxiety; phobias; social anxiety; exam stress; perfectionism; bereavement; mindfulness; self-care techniques.
I use a multitude of techniques and interventions as recommended by NICE, which are tailored to patient need.
I am also a certified Clinical Supervisor.
Reaching out for support is not always easy and I aim to create an environment where clients feel safe to talk.
I work in a client-centred collaborative way, allowing time and space to explore thoughts and feelings in a way that empowers and encourages forward movement.
My first session
The first session will be an assessment where we will discuss your referral and you have the opportunity to ask any questions about the process. If appropriate, and if you are comfortable, we will work together to create a treatment plan and decide on next steps.
